OCTOBER 24, 2018   .   8:00 AM – 3:30 PM   .   HALIFAX CONVENTION CENTRE

UDI of Nova Scotia’s annual conference returns on October 24th, and this year we are at the NEW Halifax Convention Centre.
This year’s conference offers a select line-up of sessions designed to offer Atlantic Canada’s development industry the latest information and ideas, in a NEW compact format.

Who should attend?
Developers, builders, consultants, engineers, architects, government organizations, bankers, lenders, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, and anyone involved with the development industry in Atlantic Canada.

The day will start with a keynote breakfast presentation by Scott McCrea on his Queen’s Marque development, which will focus on the lesser known complexities of planning and government approvals, sub-ocean surface work, marine construction, multiple asset class requirement, and the challenges of an art-infused precinct, all of which may make this one of the most challenging commercial developments being undertaken in Canada at this time.

Sessions include a CMHC Market Update, a presentation by MNP on planning  for the transition of your business and tax management, a cyber-security presentation and a panel discussion on Housing Affordability. The day will close with a reception featuring mini-presentations on the latest in tech for the industry.
